Oak Mountain Part Three

rvtramm75

We went on a final hike in Oak Mountain to Peavine Falls. There were two options to get to the falls, the Blue Trail and the White Trail. We chose blue. Again, uphill/downhill with roots and rocks. As we were told, during the wet season, the falls are impressive. However, during a dry season, like now, the falls are a dribble across the rocks. We took the white trail back, a longer trek but a wider, smoother trail.

At the top of the Peavine Falls trail, is evidence of the CCC at the park.

Find the toad.

One more quick thing. They have a race called Hotter N' Hell.
