We arrived at Meridian, the last stop before home, after a long day on the road. How did so much road construction get scheduled!!!
Our RV spot was surrounded by trees, both a good and bad thing. Good for the wonderful shade in hot weather, bad when the low hanging limbs drag along the top of the RV. However, we got the RV set up and continued the process of cleaning out the RV before our arrival in Burkburnett.
This is our last post for this trip. If a trip were divided into thirds, we had one-third of a really good trip. The other two-thirds (birding/weather) were less enjoyable. The weather kept us in the RV more than we wished. The birding was nearly non-existent.
The other third of any trip is seeing new things and spending time with each other. That third was the best.
Hope you ride with us next time. We already have reservations for the summer. Going to some new places to see old friends.
