Near Munising, where we went on the shipwreck cruise, we visited three different waterfalls. Two of the waterfalls were located in the Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and the other just outside of Munising.
When we happened on the Warner Waterfall, we were accompanied by a herd of Corvettes. We later saw the group again while they were touring in Marquette.
The falls was a short walk from the parking lot. And the surroundings were just as cool as they look.
Have to have a few colorful fungi.
On the way from Marquette to Munising is the town of Christmas. Fittingly, Santa makes a couple of appearances.
Pictured Rock National Lakeshore lies just east of Munising. The last time we were here, we took the Pictured Rock lake cruise. This time, we were a few hundred feet above them.
The prominent rock outcropping below is called Miner's Rock.
There are two waterfalls within the seashore, Munising, a short walk from the Ranger Station, and Miner's, a longer walk.
Miner's Falls was a longer walk!
