Leo did a Parks on the Air at the Lipantitlan State Historic Site.
The Parks on the Air was a bit exciting. Without a computer, Leo had to manually note the other radio operators he contacted. I was the "manual noter."
It is the site of a fort, existing from 1740 to 1842, named for the local Lipan Indians. Today, there is nothing to note about the activities of the area other than the historic markers. Note that the 1936 markers were defaced, having had the brass oak leaves and the star removed.
