Lake Findlay - February 14

rvtramm75

Happy Valentine's Day. This red tail looks like it has its eye on something.

We remembered the little lake over at Alice being a good birding spot, so we thought we would give it a try. Called Lake Findlay, I'm thinking it was probably called Lake Alice at one time because the road to Lake Findlay is called the Lake Alice Road.

We did see a bit more variety. The first row shows the ladderback woodpecker, vermillion flycatcher, and the killdeer. Second row includes the cardinal and green jay. Bottom row shows the pelicans that floated overhead and a kestrel that wouldn't let us get very close.
