Not every day is a whoop-tee-doo. Sometimes, one just enjoys walking around the park and enjoying nature.
I've complained about the lack of birds. There are a few of the usual suspects.
The great egret was suffering from a windy day.
The red-tailed hawk circled overhead, looking for lunch.
The blue heron staked out the fish cleaning station, hoping for left-overs.
The pretty little white-eyed vireo would hardly hold still for a portrait.
The curve-billed thrasher didn't want to pose either.
