Harlingen to Corpus Christi - February 5

After some cold, windy days, it was time to head north from Harlingen to Lake Corpus Christi State Park near Mathis, Texas. Our last day in Harlingen was a beautiful day, of which we have had so few. However, reservations are reservations.

Near Kingsville, we approached the Border Patrol check station. The drug dog was working and we had our ID's ready to show, but we were waved on. I always expect the RV to be searched.

After an easy drive, (what can I say, I didn't drive) we arrived at Lake Corpus Christi.
