A reclaimed wetland area near Fort Wayne, Eagle Marsh is a part of the Little River Wetlands Project. This area of Indiana, called the Great Marsh, had been extensively drained and turned into farmland. Covering over 800 acres, the area includes marsh, meadow, prairie, and forested wetlands and is part of a non-profit land trust.
There are many miles of hiking trails. We hiked quite a few not necessarily on purpose. Let's say, if you are hiking through the marsh, have a good map.
