Glacial Hills Pathway and Nature Area
Always looking for neat places to walk, we trekked through Glacial Hills. This was clearly a popular place, good, well-marked trails.
GRASS RIVER NATURAL AREA
Grass River is a 1,492 acre nature preserve along the Grass River with seven miles of well-maintained trails including 1.5 miles of boardwalk. The area includes hikes through the forest and along the boardwalk. The boardwalks sometimes reminded me of the boardwalks in funhouse-walks of the past.
Amazingly clear water and a bird-lifer, an American Yellow Warbler.
