Blanco State Park/Lockhart SP – December 6-20

rvtramm75

Back on the road and staying in Blanco is like going home, too. We walked our favorite places in Blanco, headed to LBJ State/National Park, and shopped the Fredericksburg Trade Days.

Plus we got to HEB for fresh seafood for supper and my Christmas Present!!

Of course, we had to go to Marble Falls and visit our favorite Cajun restaurant. The food was great.

We also finally made it to Oro Bianco, the water buffalo creamery. They make mozzarella and gelato. We didn't have mozzarella, but the gelato is wonderful! BUT, BRRRRRR, it got cold on us.

On our way to Galveston Island, we stayed a couple of nights at Lockhart State Park. The cold followed us to Lockhart, the Barbecue Capital of Texas. Of the big three, Smitty’s, Black’s, and Kreuz, Black’s is my choice. We got a meal to split and both had plenty. Sorry, we ate the barbecue before I could get a picture!!!
