After “hunkering down” last winter, we are venturing out to South Texas for the winter. Because of all the RVers on the road, Leo had to make reservations five months in-advance. Plus, Texas state parks are very popular this time of year because of the off-season rates.

Our first few weeks are reruns of places we have been a number of times, Blanco State Park and Lockhart State Park. We always enjoy Blanco. There is a beautiful river through the park and trees in the area. Blanco is strategically located near LBJ Parks and Marble Falls and we went to both.
